Kosovo: After Independence

According to discussion participants, Kosovo’s declaration of independence can have a significant and positive effect by accelerating Serbia’s reorientation toward the West. Participants also concluded that the recognition of Kosovo’s independence has shed light on a shift in Europe’s views – formerly decisively negative – toward unilateral declarations of sovereignty.
